Discord Hangout - December 20, 2022 (Tuesday)

Crestfallen holds Discord Hangouts on the first Tuesday of each month. The main purpose for these are to create a place where new or interested people can ask questions from players and staff outside of full events. While we have a rough agenda planned out, these get togethers are a great way to clear up confusion, help plan a character, and get to know the community before even showing up to an event. Our goal is to make people comfortable with the people and concepts of the game before committing to the travel and costuming of One and Two Day in person events.

These hangouts are out of game discussions only, though we may practice particular roleplaying elements at the request of players taking part.

Start Time: 4:30 PM EST

End Time: 6:30 PM EST

Character Benefits: 5 Leaves (In Game Money) and 1 Basic Resource per person. Additionally a raffle will be held for every 10 people that attend for 5 Basic Resources. These are In Game items only and hold no real world value. Our next hangout on Discord is next Tuesday if everything goes according to plan and we are wondering what people will be interested in discussing! I would love a more structured plan moving forward.

I plan on having the crafting recipe rubric available, cleaned up and condensed info for the weapon construction section, and guidelines for the blaster/firearms section.

We really want to know what people are interested in and how to communicate multiple playstyles available.

Minutes

Hi all! We had a small but very effective meeting today.

We talked about ways to make the time sink skills more interesting, some items we should better clarify, and the importance of making NPCing enjoyable and worthwhile.

Additionally we will have more ways for players to gather resources with the gathering/harvesting skills.

Thanks to those that showed up and we look forward to the next hangout (hopefully in two weeks).
